Funeral services for Joe Boyd, 56, Van, are scheduled for 4:00 pm, Friday, July 6 at Hilliard Funeral Home with Ron Shultz officiating. Visitation will be held at 3:00 prior to services. Burial will follow in New Harmony Cemetery.
Joe Benny Boyd was born January 29, 1956 in Tyler, TX to the late Dillard and Viola McKee Boyd. He worked as a truck driver. He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Nathan Boyd.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah Boyd; children, Emily Boyd, Austin Boyd and Shelli Soria and husband, Cesar; grandson, Tyler Soria; sisters, Diane Crawford and Norma Boyd; brothers, Bobby and Billy Boyd; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Danny Boyd, David Boyd, Cesar Soria, Steve Boyd, Tommy Martin and Thomas Henley.
