Larkin Lonzo Box, who was 82, died at the Kilmichael Clinic Friday, June 29th. Last rites were held June 30th at the Stewart Baptist Church at 3 p.m. with Rev. J. W. Noland and Rev. A. C. Abernathy officiating. Interment was in Milligan Springs Cemetery under the direction of Lee Funeral Home.
Mr. Box was born January 28, 1873, in Tate County and was married to the former Miss Dovie Eiland in 1908. He farmed near Cleveland, Miss., and was a member of the Stewart Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, he leaves two daughters, Mrs. Mae Grubbs, Stewart, and Mrs. Wadie Davis, Cleveland, one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter.
