Harold G. Bowsher, 63, of Lafayette died at 11:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 26, 1981 in St. Elizabeth Hospital where he had been a patient three weeks. He had been ill 10 months. He was born at Yeoman and in 1935 married Vivian I. Northrup, who survives. He was a Navy veteran and a retired Eli Lilly employee.
Surviving with the wife are two daughters, Shirley Hogan and Euleta Hickman; one son, Harold J., a twin brother; Garold E., all of Lafayette; one half-sister and two half-brothers, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends may call at Soller-Baker Lafayette Funeral Home from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday with services there at 1:30 p.m. Thursday. A military graveside service will follow in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
