THE PARIS NEWS, Sun., Apr. 19, 1998, p. 6A: 'Ada T. Bowman, 90, of Paris, passed away Friday, April 17, 1998, in St. Joseph's Hospital and Health Center. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home with Sidney R. Young officiating. Burial will follow in the Antioch Cemetery. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. Mrs. Bowman was born Oct. 21, 1907, In High, to William Mannie and Minnie Belle Freeman Thrasher. She attended school in the Lime Kiln community. Mrs. Bowman married Thomas Grafton Bowman March 3, 1924, in Antlers, OK. He died Oct. 10, 1987. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist church. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Cathryn and J. T. Bryan, Helen and Billy R. Keeling and Joyce and Gerald Jones, all of Paris; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one brother, Hubert 'Bill' Thrasher; and four sisters, Edna Patterson, Eva DePue, both of Paris, Era Mae 'Bobbye' Roberts of Arlington and Evylan Hardy also of Paris. Mrs. Bowman was preceded in death by one daughter, Minnie Pearl Bowman. Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons Jim Bryan, Joe Bryan and Rod Ashmore and grandsons-in-law Raymond Nixon, Mark Thurmon and Tim Bowman.' *Information 5 Feb 1995 from Thomas Bowman, 215 32nd NE, Paris, TX, 75460; Married T.G.
