Marvin Glenn Bowman Sr., 79, of Archie, Missouri died Friday, January 29, 2016 at his home in Archie. Marvin was born January 28, 1937 in Lexington, Missouri, a son of Albert A. and Florence E. (McCalister) Bowman.
Marvin had lived in the Kingsville, Missouri and Strasburg, Missouri area before moving to Archie 10 years ago. Marvin had worked as a policeman for the Warsaw, Missouri and Deepwater, Missouri police departments before his retirement.
He was a active Amateur Radio Operator, with the call sign of Wb0ero.
He was a member of the Archie Assembly Of God Church.
He is survived by his fiancé, Sharon Wheat, of the home. Three sons, Glenn Bowman, and wife Terry, Archie, Terry L. Bowman, Kansas City, Missouri, and Russell Bowman, Independence, Missouri. Three brothers, Melvin Bowman, Pinehurst, North Carolina, Albert Bowman, Riverside, Missouri, and Rick Bowman, Stover, Missouri. Five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Cremation with inurnment in the Machpelah Cemetery, Lexington, Missouri.
