JOHN D. BOWMAN JR., 86 - of Cape May Court House, died on Saturday, March, 24, 2007 in the Crest Haven Nursing Home, Cape May Court House. Born in Philadelphia he has lived here since 1967, moving permanently here in 1997, coming from Secane, PA. He was a machinist with Boeing Vertol and retired in 1986 after 30 years of service, a Navy veteran of WW II, a member & Trustee of the Secane Baptist Church, an avid bicyclist & reader, enjoyed the Cape May County Zoo and walking on the beach.
He is survived by his wife Merle of Cape May Court House, his son James (Cynthia) of Glen Riddle, PA , two daughters Mary (Juan) Marquez of Port Clinton, OH & Carolyn (Donald) McIntyre of Bethel Park, PA, nine grand children, twelve great grand children and one great great grandson. He was preceded in death by his two sons John D., III, William and his sister Dorothy Filer.
Funeral service 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 28th, 2007 at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Ave., Cape May Court House, where relatives and friends may call after 1:00 PM. Interment in Cape May County Veterans Cemetery.
