William Crandal Bowlsby is the son of Emanuel Parkhill Bowlsby and Lydia Ann (Thompson) Bowlsby. He had one blue eye and one brown eye.
He married Mildred Ann "Millie" Bomar on 25 Feb 1895 in Sheridan County, Nebraska. They had four children: a baby, William Arthur, Sylvia and Della. They later divorced.
William Bowlsby lived near Bondurant, Wyoming. He was considered a pioneer in the area.
Some sources have listed William C. Bowlsby and Millie (Bomar) Bowlsby as buried in the Bomar Cemetery in Sheridan County, Nebraska. THIS IS INCORRECT.
Millie is buried in Crown Hill Cemetery, Wheat Ridge, Jefferson County, Colorado. William is buried in Aspen Hill Cemetery, Jackson, Teton County, Wyoming.
