Irene Bowlsby, Wife of Veteran, Dies in Hospital
Within a few minutes after the birth of a daughter, Mrs. Irene Bowlsby, age 21, died at the Deaconess hospital Sunday morning. The baby was reported at the hospital to be an unusually healthy healthy child.
The father of the baby, Earl Bowlsby, is a disabled former service man, and is now in the east, undergoing an operation at a government hospital.
The death of Mrs. Bowlsby is said to have followed very shortly after the birth of the child and unexpectedly to the hospital attendants.
