Sheldon Kingsly Bowling, also known as, "Jimmy" was born on Riskey Farm in Napoleon, Missouri on Oct.27,1901, to Conrad Lucien Bowling and Lillie May Phillips Bowling. Sheldon married Gerialdine Grechen Coffey (Toots) on May 19,1923 at the Court House in Kansas City, Missouri. Sheldon and Geraldine had 4 children. They lived in Kansas City, M.O., and Los Angeles, California, where Geraldines folks lived. Was a farmer, and his last residence was in Pleasant Hill, Missouri, where he passed away at his home at 2:15pm on July 2,1972.
Sheldon once said, to Francis Coffey (a brother-in-law) as they looked out over his crops, "How could anybody look at all this and say, 'there is no God'?"

I am also your great granddaughter. My grandma was Betty Lee Bowling Witherspoon. I remember when Great-Grandma (Gerialdine) would come and visit Grandma in Lebanon, Oregon when I was a little girl. Wish I could have met you too.
