Marjorie J. Bartels, Michigan City, died at 4:28 a.m. Sunday (Oct 18, 1992) at St. Anthony Hospital.
A private family service will be conducted. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. There will be no visitation.
Mrs. Bartels was born in Homesville, IN., the daughter of Jospeh and Clara Bowers. She was married to Louis Bartels who is deceased.
Surviving are one son, Robert L. Bartels, Michigan City; one daughter, Sandra L. Flanagan, Michigan City; four grandchildren; two sisters, Frances Kempf and Dorothea Helms, both of Michigan City; and two brothers, Joseph and Frank Bowers, both of Michigan City. Two sisters and a brother are deceased.
Mrs. Martels, was a homemaker and she was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church Building Fund.
