DEATH OF MRS. A.G. BOWER Passes Away After a Long Illness Thursday Morning
Clara L. Bower, wife of A.G. Bower died at the Kearney hospital shortly after ten o'clock Thursday morning.
Deceased had been a sufferer from a complication of diseases for a number of years and for the last two years had taken treatment at different sanitariums and had consulted several of the most eminent physicians, but without avail. Recently it was decided that an operation was imperatively necessary and she was taken to the hospital for that purpose. The operation was performed by Dr. Allison of Omaha, assisted Dr. Basten, and was a very severe one. She never rallied from the shock and passed away Thursday morning.
Deceased had been a resident of Kearney for the past seven years and was possessed of a large circle of friends. She was a member of the First Methodist church and always manifested a deep interest in its work. She leaves a husband, two sons and a daughter, who have the earnest sympathy of all. Funeral services were held at the residence Sunday afternoon at two o'clock.
