BOWER, Charity Ann
Was unexpectedly taken from her loved ones in her home of Sprague, Washington on Sunday, September 28, 2008.
She was born to Susan Harper-Young and Kent Bower on June 10, 1974 in Spokane, Washington. She graduated from Bridge Alternative High School after giving birth to her precious daughter Caitlin. Many family members influenced Charity and drove her to be the most loving and caring person. When Charity was about 25 years of age, she took on the responsibility of four other children and accepted them as her own. She was determined to provide the best home for all of her daughters and was successful in raising the girls to become mature young adults; teaching them to respect others and be responsible for their actions. Charity continued to care for others when she was employed at Home Care of Washington, where she provided in home services to the elderly. She also offered hospitality services to the communities of Hillyard and Sprague, WA where she made many lasting friendships. Those that knew Charity would classify her as a well rounded individual who was down to earth, warm hearted, and knew how to put a smile on everyone's face. Charity is survived by her father Kent Bower, his wife Cheryl, her grandfather Max, and brother Johnas and his wife Jasmina. She leaves behind her five daughters including Caitlin Taylor, Rachael and Hannah Vickrey, Chantel Wolever, and Sarah Vickrey and boyfriend Brian and their child Camren Breeden. Many aunts and uncles also mourn her loss including Patty and Duane, Mike and Andrea, Joe and JulieAnne, Shelia and Lyle, Guy, Wes, Kelly, JoAnn, and Colleen. Not to forget her niece Cyra Bass and her many close cousins.
She was also preceded in death by her mother Susan Harper-Young, her grandparents Sharon Bower, Peggy and Joe Young and friend Tammie Vickrey.
