Lulu Bohner
MILFORD - Lulu M. Bohner, 81, of Milford, died Sunday (Jan. 10, 1999) at the Watseka Health Care Center.
Visitation will be from noon Tuesday until the 1:30 p.m. services at the Knapp Funeral Home in Milford. The Rev. Neil Larimore will officiate
Burial will be at the Sugar Creek Cemetery in Stockland.
She was born on April 19, 1917 in Stockland, the daughter of Lonzo and Delia Thornbrough Bowen.
Surviving are a daughter and son- in-law, Charlotte and Michael Farrell of Morris; two sisters and brothers-in-laws, Hazel and Willis Fox of Milford and Elizabeth and Dick Roegner of Danville; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Lester Bowen and Vernon and Leona Bowen, all of Milford; several nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Charles J. Bohner, whom she married Nov. 16, 1947 in Milford, died Feb. 17, 1995.
Mrs. Bohner worked at the Milford Canning Factory for many years.
She was proceeded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
She graduated from Stockland High School and was a member of the United Church of Sheldon. She was a lifetime member of the Iroquois County Historical Society. Throughout her life, she enjoyed crafts, needle work, reading and traveling.
Memorials to the United Church of Sheldon or the Iroquois County Historical Society will be appreciated.
