Mrs. Martha Elizabeth White, aged 72, widow of Zorah W. White and daughter of John H. and Mary White Bowen, died at her residence, 226 Lucile avenue, yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock after a long illness. She was a native of Windsor, N.C., and a resident of Norfolk for 11 years. She is survived by a son, Latham W. White, of Norfolk. Mrs. White was a member of the Park Place Baptist Church. The body was removed to the Ewell & Williamson Funeral Home, Thirty-fifth street at Colonial avenue, pending funeral arrangements.
