Fay BOWDRY, 86, of 2133 Crescent Dr., died at 8:05 a.m. Sunday at Hendrick Medical Center. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Elmwood Memorial Park, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory St.
The Rev. Buddy LITTLE, pastor of First Church of the Nazarene, will officiate.
Born Nov. 20, 1898, in Bailey, she married J. M. BOWDRY III, March 14, 1922 in Oklahoma. He died in July of 1977. She moved to Abilene from Hamlin in 1960 and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hamlin.
Survivors include two daughters, Laura JAMESON of Abilene and Leila WHITE of Graford; one granddaughter, Laura SAUNDERS of Abilene; one grandson, Jim WHITE of Hurst; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will be at 2133 Crescent Dr.
