Albert Passmore Bowden
GRAHAM - Albert Passmore Bowden, 67, of Rt. 1, Graham died in a Burlington hospital this morning at 2 o'clock following a sudden illness.
A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late Thomas Bowden and Mrs. Ruth Burnett Bowden. He was a farmer and a member of Burnett's Chapel United Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Tinnie Coble Bowden of the home; five daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Mae Curtis of Greensboro; Miss Lillian Bowden, Mrs. Helen Mebane, Miss Mildred Bowden and Miss Ruby Jane Bowden, all of the home; six sons, Junious Bowden of Rt. 1, Snow Camp; James Bowden of Rt. 2, Graham; Ralph C. Bowden of Rt. 4, Siler City; Thomas Bowden of Rt. 5, Burlington; Royzell Bowden of Rt. 2, Mebane, and George Bowden of Rt. 4, Mebane; four brothers, Ross Bowden, Lonnie Bowden, Harvey Bowden and Leroy Bowden, all of Siler City; 40 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Final riles will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Burnett's Chapel United Church of Christ. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The body will remain at Hargett and Bryant Funeral Home until taken to the home Wednesday afternoon at 4 o'clock, and will be taken to the church Thursday one hour prior to the service.
