Celebration of life for Mr. Willie E. Bowden Jr of Buchanan GA, formerly of Atlanta, will be held Sat, May 7, 2011, 11 am, Rice Memorial Presbyterian Church, 1515 Brewer Blvd SW, Atlanta, with Pastor David Bowie officiating, and Rev. Cheryl Brent eulogist. Remains will lie in state 9 am till hour of service. Interment Westview Cemetery. Family will receive friends tonight 5-7 pm at Gus Thornhill's Funeral Home, 1315 Gus Thornhill Jr Dr, East Point GA. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Michelle Bowden (Amber), 3 sons, Willie E. Bowden III, Darryl Turner & Michael Bowden (Amber), & a host of other relatives and friends. Family & friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 10 am.
