Mrs. William (Harriet) Bowcutt, 59, 317 Hill St., Idaho Falls, died at an Idaho Falls hospital Monday following a brief illness.
She was born Aug. 11, 1914, at Idaho Falls, a daughter of Lawrence L. and Bessie Hill Lambert. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls
She was married to William Bowcutt June 24, 1950, at Idaho Falls. She had worked for several years as a waitress at local restaurants.
She is survived by her widower of Idaho Falls; the following children, Mrs. Raymond (Bessie) Peterson of Clearfield, Utah, Morrison W. Clark serving with the U. S. Navy, Johnny P. Lott of Springfield, Mo, Mike N. Bowcutt serving with the U. S. Navy, Mrs. Larry (Sharon) Finstad of Butte, Mont., Roy Bowcutt of Ogden, Utah, Wayne Bowcutt of Hayward, Calif., Mrs. Jack (Elva) Dalton of Idaho Falls, Boyd Bowcutt of Hayward, Calif., Mrs. Roger (Donna) Stucki of Coltman, William Bowcutt of Sunset, Utah, Mrs. Peter (Joyce) Kilinski of Idaho Falls, Jim Bowcutt of Imperial Valley, Calif., the following brothers and sisters, Mrs. Millie Bray of Weippe, Mrs. Perry (Bertha) Butler of Yakima, Wash., Mrs. Frank (Tess) Christensen of Idaho Falls, and Lawrence L. Lambert Jr. of Idaho Falls, 43 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home with Bishop Alan J. Smith of the Idaho Falls 6th LDS Ward officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7:30 to 9 p.m. and preceding services Thursday at the Williams Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Iona Cemetery under the direction of Williams Funeral Home.
