Eva J. Bourdeau, 74, of Roseville, died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2004, at Cape Fear Medical Center, N.C. She was born June 12, 1930, in Tuscola County.
Mrs. Bourdeau loved life, relatives said. She enjoyed crafts, gardening, the outdoors and collecting clowns and angels. She also loved jewelry and dressing up like a clown to inspire others and have a great time. She was a member of New Life Assembly of God Church in Roseville.
Relatives described her as a caring person and a friend to many. "She will always remain in our hearts and memories. We will miss her dearly," her family said.
She is survived by her children, Karen Bourdeau of Mount Clemens, Daryl Bourdeau of Macomb Township, Linda Klemzak of Ubly, Dennis (Maria) Bourdeau of North Carolina, Phillip (Linda) Bourdeau of Clinton Township and Ronnie (Sharon) Bourdeau of Oxford; brothers, Lelsey Rumble of Akron, Leroy (Norma) Rumble of Kawkawlin and Lynn (Beverly) Rumble of Maryland; sister, Fern (Clifford) Goodwill of Canada; 17 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Bourdeau; parents, Warren and Ruth Alvira (nee Westphal) Rumble; and brother, Wesley Rumble.
A funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday at Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home, 2091 Main St., Ubly, with the Rev. Ellen Burns, Ubly United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Demerest Cemetery, Akron.
Visitation is 1:30-5 p.m. Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to Family Discretionary Fund.
