"Amy Viola Bourdeau, age 90, died on Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at a convalescent home in Santa Cruz, California. She was born on September 4, 1916 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She came from Virginia with her husband and children in 1958 and settled in Carmel. Amy enjoyed gardening, collecting cut glass and antique dolls.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Bourdeau in 2002. She is survived by her two sons, Charles (Cindy) Bourdeau of Pacific Grove and Larry (Ginger) Bourdeau of Boulder Creek; grandchildren, Chase Bourdeau, Christine Lucido, and Katherine Lucido; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Saturday, August 18, 2007 from 10-11am in the Chapel at Mission Memorial Park Funeral Home, 1915 Ord Grove Avenue, Seaside, CA. A Funeral Service will follow at 11am. Committal will take place in Oak Grove Cemetery, Austin, Arkansas at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Mission Memorial Park Funeral Home.
