BURL MAXINE BOULWARE, of Houston, Texas, went to be with her Lord on Monday, the 27th of September. Mac, as she was known by her family, was born February 1, 1931, in Philippi, West Virginia, to Violet and Arley Lantz Sr. She was proud of her service in the Women's Army Corps (WAC). For many years she was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary Post 581. She found great pleasure in loving and caring for her family, reading, and tending to her gardens.She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy; sister, Velda McQuain; brothers, Aubrey Lantz and Arley Lantz Jr. Mac leaves behind her loving family to cherish her memories; canine companion, Pups; daughter, Brenda Boulware and partner Fred Kalbfliesh of Wellington, Colorado; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Paul Gibbins of Cypress, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, John and Tracy Boulware of Cypress, Texas. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Alvin White III and Jennifer Montgomery, Marcus White, Paul Cassity, Kristen and Gary Rupp, Katelyn Hill, Tyler Boulware and Nicholas Boulware; great-grandchildren, Kaleb and Kolin White.Mac is also survived by her sisters, Thelma Hershey and Shirley Kenepp of Akron, Ohio; sister, Marie Harvet of Arlington Heights, Illinois; brother, Guy Lantz, Ohio; brother-in-law, Fred Boulware of Mt. Enterprise, Texas; brother-in-law, TR Woods of Hodge, Louisiana; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 1st from 6pm to 8pm at American Heritage Funeral Home.Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 2nd at 10am, in the chapel of American Heritage Funeral Home.
