Visitation for Irene M. Bleau, 81, of Kankakee, will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Kankakee.

There will be a 4:30 p.m. wake service and a 6 p.m. service by Madonna Della Rocca Society.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.

Burial will be in Kankakee Memorial Gardens.

Memorials may be made to St. Rose of Lima Church, where she was a member, or for Masses.

Mrs. Bleau died Tuesday (Aug. 4, 1998) at Provena St. Mary's Hospital.

A former employee of Bear Brand, she retired from Ralph Storrs Inc.

She was a member of the Madonna Della Rocca Society.

Mrs. Bleau was born Aug. 20, 1916 in Kankakee, the daughter of Onezime ''Bud'' and Rose Morisette Boudreau.

Her husband, Arthur Bleau, whom she married on Oct. 4, 1947, in, died in 1974.

Surviving are a special friend, Louis Sebastiani of Kankakee; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Bernice Mathiesen of Kankakee, Barbara and Robert Myrich of Clarksville, Tenn., Judith Mussa of Bradley and Dorothy and Jim Longtin of Bourbonnais; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Sonya Boudreau of West Plains, Mo.; several nieces and nephews, including Marie Thrasher of Kankakee; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

One brother, Lawrence Boudreau, and a sister, Marie Rose Gall are deceased.
