Catherine A. ‘Kate’ Reuter, nee Boucher, age 78, died Thursday, September 8, 1994 at her residence.
She was born in Joliet, June 11, 1916 and was a lifelong resident.
Kate was employed for many years at Keir Jewelers and was a parishioner of The Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus.
Catherine was the loving mother of William ‘Bill’ Reuter of Joliet and Sally (Timothy) Neary of Morris; the proud grandmother of Timothy and Kristen Neary, both of Morris; the sister of, Mary Lou (Frank) Calcanas, James ‘Jim’ Boucher, both of California, sister-in-law of Murial (Edwin) McGuire of Joliet and Jack Hickey of Oakbrook. Numerous nieces, nephews and many friends survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. ‘Jack’ Reuter; her parents, Agnes and John Boucher, two brothers, John ‘McGee’ and Charles ‘Chuck’ Boucher; one sister, Margaret ‘Marge’ Hickey.
