Frederick Bouchat Sr. retired breadwrapper

A mass of the resurrection for Frederick C Bouchat Sr a retired breadwrapper and packer for the old General Backing Company will be offered today at 11 am at the Hubbard Funeral establishment 4107 Wilkens avenue.
Mr Bouchat who was 93 died Thursday at the Harbor View Nursing and Convalescent Center, Light and Ostend streets after a lengthy illness. Before entering the nursing home he had lived for 17 years in Severna Park with his daughter, Mrs. Lillian Garde.
After working first for a local candy make, Mr. Bouchat went to work for the General Baking Company in the late 1920's when it was located at North avenue and Harford road. He retired in 1952.
He enjoyed growing flowers in his daughter's garden.
Mrs Bouchat's wife the former Lillian R Allen died in 1960.
His survivors include two sons, William E Bouchat Sr of Howard county and Frederick C Bouchat Jr of Baltimore; two daughters Mrs Lillian Garde and Mrs Minnie A Bruchey of Baltimore, two sisters Mrs Dora Price of Arbutus and Mrs Bertha Poos of Catonsville; 19 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Mr Bouchat rests at Howard H Hubbard Funeral Home Inc 4107 Wilkens Ave. Relatives and freinds are invited on Monday at 11 am. Interment in Louden Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends daily from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9.
