Funeral Services Held For Mrs. Botzong Sunday.
Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Ann Botzong, 87, wife of the late Charles F. Botzong of Minden, were held Sunday afternoon at the Green-Kleinegger Chapel. Mrs. Botzong died Friday night about eleven o'clock, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. June Turner.
Rev. Vernon G. Miles conducted the services. Mrs. Botzong was born in Perry County, Alabama, February 2, 1850. She had lived in Webster Parish for 69 years.
Mrs. Botzong is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Kate Smith and Mrs. June Turner, two sons, James B. Botzong and John Botzong, all of Minden; 16 grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
