Frederick, Md. Dec. 25.—Augustus L. Boteler, a prominent citizen of Frederick, died this afternoon, aged sixty-seven years. He was formerly a member of the firm of Boteler Bros., Carriage Builders, but retired some years ago from business. He was a prominent Democrat and served his party as a member of the city council as treasurer of the board of charities and corrections, and for many years was treasurer of the central county committee. He leaves a widow, one son, one daughter and one brother.
