Funeral services for Benjamin Alexander Boston 84, 2012 Ave. M, who died in St. Mary's Hospital at 1:20 p.m. Thursday were to be held at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Sanders Funeral Home.

The Rev. Wayne Cook, chaplain of Methodist Hospital, was to officiate, assisted by Dr. Jack M. Lewis, retired Presbyterian pastor. The body will be taken to Whitesboro for graveside services at 2 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Dixie Cemetery under direction of Sanders Funeral Home of Lubbock.

Boston was born August 25, 1873 at Whitesboro. He lived in Lubbock 22 years.

Survivors include his wife, four daughters, Mrs. Craig C. Wofford, Mrs. Martin Donley, Mrs. Harrison Donley and Mrs. Frank Smith, all of Lubbock; two sons, J. Ben Boston of Vernon and H.D. Boston of Brownfield; four sisters and seven grandchildren.
