He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors: Wife; daughter, Nina D. Whitmore of Stroudsburg; half brother, Frank Buskirk in Texas; half sisters, Harriet Gould of Stroudsburg and Frances of Sciota, and a grandson.
