Mrs. Gerbino was born Oct. 22, 1907, in Torino, Italy.
As an infant, she moved with her family to the United States and lived in Oklahoma and Wyoming before moving to Klamath Falls in 1924.
She married George Gerbino, who was a foreman for Ewauna Box Co., in 1925.
From 1931 to 1940, Mrs. Gerbino operated an Italian restaurant, Rex Cafe, on East Main Street.
Beginning in 1940, she and her husband owned and operated Oregon Box Co. and she later worked at Louie's Food Store (now called Gino's) on East Main Street.
She moved to San Jose in 1993.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Fred and Mary Gerbino of San Jose; sisters, Jennie Pastega of Klamath Falls and Rose Shaver of Redding; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and eight nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; brothers, Louie and Bert Borgialli; and sister, Chastine Roberts.
