Mrs. Borgia was a well-known Italian chef, having worked at Damore's, DeLuca's, and Henry's restaurants, and was featured in the Erie-Chautauqua Magazine. She enjoyed her home, family, and garden.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ottavio "Otto" Borgia in 1965, a sister, Bianca DiGiovanni, and two brothers, Lidio and Pellegrino "Rino" DiGiovanni.
Survivors include two sons, Otto Borgia, Jr., wife Patricia, and Robert Borgia, wife Louise, all of Erie; four daughters, Nicolette Beightol, husband Michael, Erie, Linda Borgia-Damore, Bridgeport, W. Va., Claudia Stinely, husband Patrick, Erie, and Brenda Lee Tarassoly, husband Mohsen, Libertyville, Ill.; ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; a sister, Cherina Goldoni, husband Lino, Belgium; a brother, Annible DiGiovanni, wife Olympia, Altavilla, Italy; many nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
