Esther E. Beers, 72, of Palmerton R.2, died Wednesday in the Allentown and Sacred Heart Hospital Center.
She was the widow of Arthur Beers. She was a sewing machine operator at Scotty s. Little Gap, for 20 years before retiring. Born in Northampton County, she was a daughter of the late Steward and Stella (Meissner) Borger. She was a member of Jerusalem United Church of Christ, Trachsville.
Surviving are a daughter Margaret and a son Leon, both of Palmerton; two sisters, Mrs. Eva Borger of Palmerton, and Virginia, wife of Joseph Kocher Jr. of Egypt five brothers, Allen Borger and Ray Berger. both of Bath, Norman Borger of Allentown, Frederick Borger of Northampton and Merritt Borger of Fullerton; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
