Charles Wayne Boren age 66 passed away peacefully on June 20, 2011 at his home in Fresno, CA.
Charles was born in Anadarko, OK on September 13, 1944.
He was employed at Western Farm Service in Lompoc, CA for 18 years and last worked at Den-Mat Corp in Santa Maria, CA.
He later moved to Bakersfield, CA to care for his elderly mother, where he resided for over 10 years.
Last of all, he moved to Fresno, CA to be close to his daughters and grandchildren.
Charles loved being a father and grandfather and could spend hours talking and showing pictures of his children and grandchildren. Oh, how he loved sharing stories about them.
He also enjoyed gardening, taking walks to his local shopping mall, dining with family and friends, singing along to his favorite tunes, and making people laugh.
Charles is survived by his three daughters: De-Anna Estrada, Vikki Boren, and Saundra Boren; his siblings Velma Dean, Carol Logan, Elvis Boren, Jaquetia Zinn, and Dolores Pedersen; four grandchildren: Brent Estrada, Jareb and Ciana Hunt, and Jacob Boren.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother Haskell and Marie Boren and siblings Glenn Boren and Janice Lindsay.
Cherished Memories Memorial Chapel, Fresno, CA Graveside Interment will follow at Belmont Memorial Park and Memorial Reception to follow at Arbor Faire Apartments' clubhouse.
