She was the daughter of John "Carl" Beaman and Martha "Mattie" Morgan.

She married Lemuel H. Booth on 27 September 1898.

They had children, Clara "May" Booth[married Raymond T. Hanson], Jud Joe Booth[married Guila C. Thorn], Carl Nolan Booth[married Ruby Jane Chandler] and Anna Booth.

This stone is in the new [east] section of the cemetery.

Nellie Booth was born August 25, 1875, the daughter of Carl and Mattie Beaman. She was born south of Hopeville and lived all her life in Clarke county.
She was married to Lemuel H. Booth, September 27, 1898 and to this union were born four children: Clara Mae Hansen, Anna Booth, Jud Joe and Carl Nolen. Her husband passed away December 11, 1927 while they were residing at Hopeville. Of the children, both Anna and Jud passed before her. Of her brothers and sisters, Willie, Edward, Albert and an infant sister preceded her in death.
She had been in poor health for the past several years and departed this life March 9, at an Osceola hospital, being past 78 years old at death.
Surviving her are: her brother, Fred Beaman, and sister, Clara Laughery of Murray; her son, Carl and his wife Ruby, of Murray: her daughter, Mrs. Mae Hansen and Husband of Thayer; her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Guila Booth; also four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral was conducted on Sunday afternoon, March 11, at the Church of Christ in Murray, with the minister, O.E. Richardson, in charge. Burial at Hopeville cemetery. Watts Funeral service was in general charge.
The singers were Olin Bissell, True Woods, Clarence and Charles Arnold, with Mrs. Harold Hindes as accompanist.
