Oliver was the son of Eden A. and Sarah Boose, and the brother of Henry W. Boose.
Oliver B. Boose was born December 10, 1854, and died July 23, 1930, aged 75 years, 7 months and 13 days.
Mr. Boose had spent many years in the vicinity of Larue where he once served as postmaster, but lived retired for a number of years. He was a member of Shaffer's Reformed Church.
The funeral services were held on Saturday afternoon, July 26, 1930, at 2 o'clock, with services at the home of his sister-in-law, Mrs. Maria Boose, and at Shaffer's Church. Burial in the new cemetery. The funeral text was Heb. 10:16.
