Clayton A. Boose, 59, died at his home 316 High Street, Hanover, Sunday morning at 3:45 o'clock.
The deceased was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Ephraim Boose late of Littlestown. He was a native of Littlestown but had resided in Hanover for the last 35 years. Mr. Boose was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran church.
He was affiliated with the Hanover lodges of the Patriotic Order Sons of America, the Knights of Malta, and the Ancient Order Knights of the Mystic Chain.
Surviving are his widow, the former Ella Green; two daughters, Mrs. Earl Keith, South Street, Hanover, and Mrs. Lloyd Walterdorff, Baltimore; seven grandchildren, a sister Mrs. Harvey Hull, Littlestown and three brothers, Charles R. Boose, Broadway, Hanover, Calvin Boose, Littlestown and Oliver Boose, Danville.
Funeral services on Wednesday at the home at 3 o'clock with the Rev. Dr. Harry Hursh Beidleman, Pastor of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hanover.
