James served his country, serving for 22 years in the U.S. Air Force, then working for 20 years on air conditioning/heating repairs. He loved to fish as a hobby.
James was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Louise.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Dixie Bonne; son, Scott Boone; daughter, Carole Kalina and husband, Frances and their two sons, Jordon and Aaron; brothers, John, Joe, and Douglas Boone; and sister, Janie Boone.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 20, 2005 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home in Austin. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 21, 2005 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Cemetery.
