Funeral services for Richard Henry Boone, 78-year old retired engineer for the Illinois Central Railroad, were held June 10 at Lee Funeral Home chapel at 10 a.m.
Mr. Boone, a resident of Winona, died June 8 at Kilmichael Hospital. He was a member of the Memphis Masonic Lodge, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the American Legion.
Officiating at the services were Revs. G. T. Dukes and John A. Wade. Burial was in Bethlehem Cemetery, Lee in charge.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Irene Boone, Winona; three sons, James W. Boone, Richard H. Boone, and R. A. Boone, all of Memphis; two daughters, Mrs. Sallie Holland, West Memphis, Arkansas; and Mrs. Martha Castle, Dayton, Ohio; and seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers were members of the Masonic order.
