George Law Boone died in Brownsville, on March 14, at the age of 63. He was born in Boones Ferry, Clackamas County, OR, on April 14, 1855, to Jesse VanBibber Boone and Elizabeth (Fudge) Boone.
He resided in this state all his life.

In 1881 he was united in marriage to Mary E. Feaster and settled in Polk County. Afterward resided in Yaquina Bay, Philomath, and finally in Linn County.

Mr. Boone became a member of the United Brethren church in 1898. He was a member of the Woodmen of the World at Philomath.

Mr. Boone was injured in an accident in 1912 and never recovered fully from it.

He is survived by his widow, and a foster daughter, Mrs. A. L. "Bonnie" Lowrey, and two brothers, V. D. Boone of Yakima and J. J. Boone of Tualatin.
