Billie Bookout, 75, of Quinton, died Friday, Dec. 3, at a McAlester hospital. Billie was born Dec. 20, 1923 at Featherston, the daughter of Leonard and Flora (Bullard) Bookout. She was raised and attended school at Featherston. She lived in the Quinton area all her life, working several years as a housekeeper. She was a member of the Quinton First Baptist Church. Survivors include a sister, Betty Satterfield of Quinton; a brother, W. L Bookout o Quinton; nieces, Glenda Bookout of Quinton, Joy Anderson of Tulsa, Sanders Smith and Karen Purdom of Quinton; nephews, Jimmy Bookout of Stigler, and Lanny, Robert and Dennis Satterfield, all of Quinton. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7, at the Quinton First Baptist Church with Rev. Ray Smith and Rev Leonard Karch oficiating. Music ws provided by the First Baptist Church Choir. Burial followed at Featherston Cemetery under the direction of Black's Funeral Home, Quinton. Pallbearers were Jay Miller, Jerry Stockton Robert Satterfield, Dennis Satterfield, Jimmy Bookout and Rocky Purdom.
