Dolly Bernissant Bonura, a homemaker, died Friday at East Jefferson General Hospital. She was 84. Mrs. Bonura was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. She graduated from St. Mary's Dominican High School. Survivors include her husband, John Melvin Bonura; a son, John M. Bonura Jr.; two daughters, Gail Bonura King and Jeanne Bonura Domilise; a sister, Elaine Bernissant Conlan; 12 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. A Mass will be said today at noon at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will be in All Saints Mausoleum.
