Ronald Claire "Butch" Bonnett, 68, of Fawn Township, died Sunday, Aug. 28, 2011. He was born April 28, 1943, in Tarentum, a son of the late Dennis L. Bonnett Sr. and Greta (Benton) Bonnett. A 1961 graduate of Tarentum High School, he lived in Fawn Township for 41 years and, prior to that, Tarentum and Natrona Heights. Ronald was the owner and founder for 50 years of Highland Tire in Tarentum and Natrona Heights. He was a member of Center United Methodist Church, Fawn Township. Butch cherished his family and the friends he made throughout the years. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Barbara J. (Demange) Bonnett, of Fawn Township; daughter, Rebecca J. "Becca" (Francis) Arabia, of Lower Burrell; sons, Brent A. Bonnett, of Tarentum, and Brad A. (Jennifer) Bonnett, of Fawn Township; seven grandchildren, Kathan, Karli, Brooke, Bailey, Breea, Brenna and Bella; and brother, Dennis L. Bonnett Jr., of Brackenridge. He was preceded in death by his parents, who Butch admired and held in the utmost respect. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in First Baptist Church, 410 Third Ave., Tarentum, with the Rev John P. Kuert, Pastor of Evangel Heights Assembly of God, Sarver, officiating.
