LODA - Henry A. Bonges Jr., 63, of Loda, owner/operator of a construction company, died at 9:08 p.m. Sunday (July 21, 1991) at Covenant Medical Center, Urbana.

His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Knapp-Miller Funeral Home, Paxton. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Loda, with military rites by Loda American Legion Post.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Bonges was born April 23, 1928, at Ottawa, a son of Henry A. and Darlene Zenor Bonges. He married Eldora Schini June 1, 1963, at Buckley. She survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Kevin, Waukegan, and Henry A. III, Milton, Vt.; one daughter, Julianne Lewie, Gahanna, Ohio; four sisters, Evelyn O'Leary, LaSalle; and Bernice Pugh, Kathryn Graffis and Lois Carretto, all of Ottawa; and five grandchildren.

Two sisters preceded him in death.

Mr. Bonges was owner and operator of Bonges Construction Co., Loda, and a member of Local 44 of United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners, Champaign.

A veteran of the Korean War, he was a member of the Loda American Legion Post and AMVETS Post 92.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
