Bonewitz, on Sunday, October 19, 1980, husband of the late Lorraine Wittmers, father of Lorraine Maille, grand-father of Ronald Dominiguez and Kay Trippi; also survived by 4 great-grandchildren; brother of Mrs. Clara Zweifel and Mrs. Connie Marks and the late Mrs. Louise Langman, Mrs. Sylvan Baille, Mrs. John Cluney, Mrs. Andrew Scherrer, Mrs. John Schilling, Mrs. Gertrude Knecht, John, Louis and Lee Bonewitz, son of the late Margaret Ackermann and Capt. Baptiste Bonewitz, age 90 years.

Relatives and friends of the family, also New Orleans Fire Department are invited to attend the funeral, from the funeral home of Joseph Laughlin & Company, 4500 Magazine Street on Monday, October 20, 1980 at 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Funeral Home.

Interment in St. Vincent Cemetery, Soniat Street. Parlors will be open Monday, October 20, 1980 at 9:00 o'clock.
