Forrest Bonebrake was the son of Art E. and Hazel M. Hendryx Bonebrake. He married Lila Finley in 1972, and she preceded him in August of 1973.
Surviving are three nieces; Carol (Ron) Shaw, Shirley (Ken) Moffett, and Janice (Pete) Brown, and one nephew Jerry (Marsha) Cranmore .
His parents, one brother and one sister preceded him in death.
Before retirement, Forrest had worked for Danville High School as a custodian for 31 years. Forrest had served in the U.S. Army during WWII from 1942 to 1946. He was a member of Lincoln United Methodist Church, VFW Post 728, AMVETS and the DAV. He enjoyed collecting coins and stamps and playing bingo.
