Bessie Jane (Bond) Allen was the daughter of Oswald and Charlotte H. (Gorton) Bond. She was the 1st wife of Rev. Dr. Ray Allen. They were married Pavilion, New York, December 2O, 1885. Rev. Allen was a minister in the Genesee Conference/ South India Conference and Bengal Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church. He died March 4, 1938.
