Oddly, although Charles’ tombstone indicates he died in 1909, he appears in the 29 April 1910 Wayne County census with with wife Sarah, her parents and 3 children: Ruben, 15; Pearl, 12; and Lillie, 8. In 1900 Sarah is living with "William" Bond in Edwards County with children: Roy, 11; Lulu, 9, Reuben, 5, Pearl, 2 and Dewey, 2/12.
