Josephine Bond Browne was born in New York in 1844. She married Thomas Browne of Brooklyn when she was twenty and together, they had five children. The Browne family lived in both Brooklyn, NY and Lake Ronkonkoma, NY for their entire married lives. Josephine was said to be a devoted wife, mother and friend.
She died of tuberculosis in Brooklyn, NY November 18, 1888 at the age of 44.

Gravesite Details

Apparently the Browne family never erected a stone for Josephine, but Calvary Records as of 2014 list the grave as Joseph. Browne. The date of death matches Josephine's and the original owner of the plot, Valentine Browne confirms the family.
