Freddie Evelyn Davis Bonbrake, 84, of Columbus, Kansas, passed away at Mt. Carmel Regional Medical Center in Pittsburg, Kansas.
She was born on the Hood Ranch in Cherokee County, Kansas, to Jess U. and Eula Edmondson Davis. She attended Hopewell County School and Columbus High School.
She married Benny Bonbrake on March 28, 1948 in Baxter Springs, Kansas. They farmed and ranched in the Columbus area. He survives at the home.
Survivors include her husband, a son, Rick Bonbrake of Pittsburg, Kansas, a daughter, Janie Wright of Monet, Mo., two grandchildren, a great-granddaughter, two sisters, Willie "Billie" McBride of Salinas, Calif., and Edna Jane McCulley of Oswego, Ks., and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two infant twin brothers, and a brother, Jack Davis.
