Albert Boman was born in Crawford-co., Indiana, July 10, 1858, and died at his home in Buffalo, December 31, 1918.
He had been in poor health for the past five years. On December 28 he became ill with influenza which proved fatal.
He came to Kansas in 1883, settling in Wilson-co. In 1887 (should be 1889) he was married to Miss Kate Orendorff. To this union three children were born; Dudley, who lives on the farm near Rest; Cora, at home, and one dying in infancy. Besides his immediate family he leaves six brothers, one sister and many friends to mourn his death.
He was a loving husband, a kind father, and an honest, upright neighbor.
Funeral services were held at the home at 11 o'clock Thursday, January 2, after which the remains were laid to rest in the High Prairie cemetery.
