" On March 28th, 1915, Falaba, on a voyage from Liverpool to west coast of Africa with passengers and general cargo, was sunk by the German submarine U-28 (Georg-Günther von Forstner), 38 miles west from the Smalls, St. George Channel.
104 persons were lost."
